Based on this motto, "more trees" is carrying out a variety of activities and initiatives.
This forest conservation organization was founded by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto in 2007. Aiming to create a society where forests and people can live together forever, the organization works under the slogan "connecting cities and forests."
MidiUmi has made donations to this organization in the past, as we are sympathetic to their attitude of looking at the reality of the impact of climate change on the natural environment and deforestation, and taking a positive approach to addressing the issues that are right in front of us.
For the 2023 Spring/Summer season, MidiUmi will continue to donate a portion of sales from both its "HOME" and "CAMP" series to "more trees." It is with this hope that we can support forest creation through our clothing production, however small the contribution may be.
