Laundry nets to protect the ocean

Laundry nets. I think many people use them for their daily laundry.

We use it to reduce damage caused by washing important clothes or clothes made of delicate materials.

I personally use a laundry net for the same purpose.

Of course, the primary purpose is to take care of and protect your clothes. But by simply changing your laundry net, you can also help protect the ocean. (That may be a bit of an exaggeration.)

Microplastics. You've probably heard about them a lot recently.

Synthetic materials such as polyester and nylon are primarily made from plastic.

Washing synthetic fabrics releases invisible microplastics that are thinner than a human hair.

Plastics are generally not easily decomposed in nature, and even if they do decompose, it is said to take hundreds or even thousands of years.

When we wash our clothes, microplastics are released into the ocean as fiber debris down the drain, and once in the ocean, they are very difficult to recover.

The impact of microplastics is being debated... There are many different opinions on this, and the discussion will continue to get deeper if we continue, so I will stop here.

That said, of course, the most important thing is to enjoy fashion, but I think it would be selfish to turn a blind eye to this issue, because the ocean belongs to everyone, so everyone should be involved.

So, going back to the beginning of the story, changing your laundry net can prevent fiber debris from leaking out.

The "Ocean Protection Laundry Net" is made of ultra-fine mesh, which prevents fiber debris that causes microplastics from escaping.

It might be a good idea to change your laundry net along with your clothes when the seasons change.

May the abundance of the ocean continue into the future.
