2025 S/S MidiUmi "SOIL" series
MidiUmi's sustainable series "SOIL" was launched in the spring/summer 2024 season.
SOIL is a word that means earth, land, soil, etc. We use natural materials as much as possible, and release items with the aim of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and mitigating environmental impact.
The greatest feature of the SOIL series is that it remains unchanged while maintaining its basic stance.
They select materials that bring out the natural texture, and keep design to a minimum to create simple items that you'll want to wear for a long time.Their designs are based on the policy that even though they are clothes designed to reduce the environmental impact, they don't sacrifice on cuteness.
This season's items include a lineup that incorporates a work style that goes well with natural materials!
The key features are the natural texture and twisted detail work.
The pullover and pants made with chino cloth are a cute combination that can be worn as a set. The top can be adjusted with the string at the hem, giving it a relaxed silhouette that is perfect for a sophisticated look. The pants have a single pleat and a straight silhouette that can be worn loosely. They can also be slightly rolled up.

The pullover features a distinctive long placket. The crisp cotton material and white stitching add a touch of work style.
All items in the series are marked with the character for "earth" (soil) made from natural thread. Its symbolic presence, like a logo or icon, is key.
The front detail design was born out of the elimination of zippers. The buttons and matching drawstrings make it easy to wear, while also minimizing the number of buttons.
While regular tags are fastened with white thread, the SOIL series tags are fastened on all four sides with red organic cotton thread.
The parkas and shirts feature a simple design with as few buttons as possible on the front, a feature that is characteristic of the series. The key point is the design that makes use of atmospheric textures, such as the use of materials that give off a vintage, washed-out feel.
