Traditional techniques and high-quality knitwear
Harley of Scotland, a historic Scottish knitwear manufacturer
The company has been family-run for three generations and has a long history. Founded in 1929, the company was first started by Peter Hurley-Buchan, the great-grandfather of the current owner.
Using the highest quality natural yarns and yarns from Scotland, the manufacturer develops knitwear that makes use of knowledge and techniques that have been passed down for nearly a century.
Many of the items are inspired by the scenery and culture of the islands in northern Scotland, and follow Fair Isle knitting, a traditional knitting style that developed on the Scottish island of Fair Isle. The brand is known for its knitwear that uses multiple colored yarns to create patterns, and the beauty of the seamless, whole garment finish is also a reason for its high reputation. This time, we will introduce some of the brand's classic knitwear with beautiful colors.
