I'm sure many of you have seen this adorable lion before.


This is a work by Lisa Larson, a leading Swedish ceramic artist.

Lisa Larson is a Swedish ceramic artist known for her rustic, warm works featuring animal and human motifs.


This time, we will shed light on previously unknown aspects of Lisa Larson's creative work, based on her well-known masterpieces, which have created numerous products beloved around the world.

We would like to introduce the exhibition "Lisa Larson: The Unknown World of Creativity - Along with Classic Masterpieces."

Born in Sweden in 1931, Lisa Larson worked for many years as a designer for Gustavsberg, Sweden, where she created numerous products that are loved around the world.


After becoming a freelance designer in 1980, he continued to work in a wide range of fields, and until his sad passing in March of this year, he enjoyed working on his creations in his own studio.

During her long career as an artist, Lisa Larson has designed a series of products that are loved all over the world.


In addition to these series of classic masterpieces that are instantly recognizable as her designs, this exhibition also sheds light on one-of-a-kind pieces (unique pieces) and early works that not many people have had the opportunity to see until now, introducing a lesser known side of her creativity.

Lisa Larson's animals are best known for their adorable lions, cats, and dogs, but she has also drawn inspiration from a variety of other animals. One particularly distinctive body of work is her series of imaginary animals, which she began modeling in the Gustavsberg studio in the late 1960s and continued to create at home thereafter. This exhibition will be the first public showing of these "unknown animals."

Lisa Larson is a ceramic artist, but to this day she has collaborated with various companies to create products using different materials. While she was already working as a designer at Gustavsberg, she began working as a freelance artist with other design companies. In the late 1970s, she designed a series of small bronze sculptures for Skandia Presents. Her glass works for Royal Krona are also on display.

In addition to her signature simple and cute animal and tranquil human figures, you will be able to enjoy Lisa Larson's creative world through the exhibition, which also includes one-of-a-kind pieces that have rarely been shown before, works in different materials such as glass and bronze, and sketches.
